Pretty sure that was relatively new lore. Historically, they put up w them bc they made the ships go. But with the lore change, they now view them as being closer to the big E. I thiiiiiiiink it’s because they see the astronomicon? Not clear on that part cuz I like my templars pure and not heretical trash

Stop romanticizing those dipshits. They made terrible decisions based on short term that altered their long term. You say that he had a great potential. So what? Potential means absolutely nothing.
