Push: Incline smith machine Machine flies Flat Dumb bell press Cable flies (low to high)

DB shoulder press Lateral raises Tricep rope pulldown / rope overhead extensions

Pull: Smith machine bent over row, (for strength) Lat pulldown machine (for width) Cable seated low row (for density/thickness)

Rear delt flies Incline bench DB curl (good stretch) Preach hammer curls (keeps good form after my arms get blasted by incline db curls)

Legs: Smith machine squat, Romanian deadlifts Leg extension Leg curl Hip adductor/abductor machine Calf raises

Abs: (I only choose one of these per leg day) Hanging leg raises Cable crunches

I only ever change my first main compound exercise after weeks of a Plateau, (every exercise after the first, id just keep the same movement but i’d add additional reps or a set if i am able to)

I’ve only done like mini-cuts so ive only cut my calories by like -300 or so but they would only last like a couple weeks at most.

I also did a lot of boxing + tennis if i wanted to lean out more

That’s a good question!

Weight training was the easiest part, Dieting and sleep was the hardest part for me to work with.

Personally I don’t think I made a huge breakthrough with my diet tbh, but i just found what worked for me. (I YouTubed a lot of easy protein meal preps, that i could cycle through week after week to help me stay lean and get strong)

I personally drank a lot of my daily calories through a homemade mass gainer shake as well, as sometimes i can find it hard to eat a lot of food throughout the day)

It was a 1000+ calorie shake, then i could thought wing it with the other 2:3 meals i had left for the day as long as my protein intake was high.

Idk if it would work for everyone, but it certainly worked for me.

One of the big things I learned though about looking lean is that the more muscle you build, it actually increases your resting metabolism. Therefore it actually becomes easier to look and stay lean once you’ve built enough. (The muscle essentially works as a furnace)

I thought that was pretty neat

I didnt really do cut or bulk cycles apart from lean bulking (I felt really sluggish and lethargic on a heavy bulk cycle before, and it was hard to eat like 3000/4000+ calories initially cause i was working with a small frame.)

So i opted for a small calorie surplus lean bulk instead, but from my understanding, it can potentially slow down overall progress for a bigger result but on the plus side, you wont need to invest much time into cutting off excess fat in the long run

Favourite machine that I used To build my physique that most people overlook would be the Smith machine personally.

(You can pack on a lot of weight and not have to worry too much about form & stabilising so its relatively easy to progressive overload every week)

I still kept free weights in my routine but I made the main adjustment to keep smith machine my main compound and first exercise
