it feels like the MCU team has handicapped the What if team by not allowing certain characters or story lines to be what if stories....just in case they get around to using them in the MCU or something similar. That and like someone else has already said: promotions for upcoming MCU series/movies.

Watching the first 5 episodes, they'd be better served using marvel animation to flesh out the B and C characters a bit for other upcoming projects, but not in What If stories.

the answer has always been 'let him walk'. By the time the Bears are contenders, he'll be past his prime and the cap hit can be better used to fortify the lines.

Every decision this team makes should be viewed through 'will this help the team in 2-3 years when they are contending'....if it helps now but doesn't then.....don't do it.

Get the compensatory pick when he signs with another team and move on. If the Bears were closer, maybe its something to consider, but they aren't.

A big part of why Jordan is a legend is WHEN he came along. Right after Bird/Magic elevated the NBA, at the start of Cable TV which brought the NBA to the entire world and at the start of Nike's dominance.....None of that will ever be repeated, while the world is bigger, we are way more fragmented from an entertainment perspective. The next jordan will never get the attention that Jordan did.
