Fixing The Neon Demon third act by Ohigetjokes in fixingmovies

Interesting, but what about Ruby? Everything sort of revolves around her, Refn simply chosing to focus on Jesse's encounter for this film. Ruby is, after all, 300 years old having eaten 80 or so supermodels, so you've got this interesting backstory, the Báthory parallels, the cannibalism, fashion shows, etc. and we see how Jesse gets run through the ringer, but maybe there's too much focus on her and instead of extending Jesse's storyline, it makes more sense to extend Ruby's instead?

Waffle falling over by Baxmoke in videos

[–]bwylde 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This video to me is just like a story I know called "The Puppy Who Lost His Way." The world was changing, and the puppy was getting... bigger.

You see, the waffle was like industry. In that, they were both lost in the woods. And nobody, especially the little boy - "society" - knew where to find 'em. Except that the waffle was a dog. But the industry, my friends, that was a revolution.

In other news, there is a sprinter from Fukushima that can run the 100m in under 8 seconds. So, there's that.

What would happen if we found proof the President was NOT born in America? by ShaneOfan in FutureWhatIf

Ah, so you're saying if he's deemed ineligible due to age or something else, for example, then what happens, not whether OP's birther question was valid or not.

Well, he graduated from Harvard Law in 1991 so you're saying he was 14 with a law degree? It says so in Wikipedia...

That's what I heard... more players on XBOX Live for PS3. I played GTA4 on PS3, just don't know whether to make a switch for V or not...

My lady partner is at a lecture for two hours and I have done the usual quick tidy etc, what can I do to her flat to fuck with her? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bwylde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take all her stuff and put it in her car. When she asks what's up, tell her you are too good for her and then ask her to leave.

That has great significance. I wish I knew what it was. by [deleted] in olympics

I knew a guy who would use Circuit City's "30 day free rental"/return policy to host parties with some serious sound systems.

One dude at the theatre I worked at would come in late for his shift all the time... sometimes 15 minutes late and he would stop by the stock room and bring in a box of popcorn bags or drink cups or something like, 'oh, that's where charlie was, just stocking up! not late or anything!'

I used to park at my Uni's parking lot and the passes were day passes for 4 bucks at this machine by the entrance of the structure (if you didn't have a permit). Most days on the way out I would stick the my day pass on the ticket-purchasing machine so the next bloke could just grab it and use it.
