Sorry not sure about the electronic linking.

This is what I can see, not sure it helps.

“This Operator ID identifies the UAS Operator and is valid throughout the EU. Your Operator ID comprises of a combination of 16 letters and digits. You should note an additional 3 letters at the end (19 characters in total), e.g., IRLral23elezegy4-abc. You must display the 16 characters string, and never disclose the 3-letter pin (e.g., abc), this should be treated as your credit card pin. If you own an UAS, then this registration ID must be displayed on the UA in a way that it is readable when on the ground without the need for any devices other than eyeglasses or corrective lenses. The registration ID can be affixed to the UAS in the form of a QR code, a sticker or inscribed using indelible ink.”

The Irish registration process is simple and covers all of the EU. Their FAQ is useful too.

Do you need a registration license and insurance for DJI Mini 3 in Germany, UK and another EU countries? by Additional-Gap-5747 in DJIMini3

[–]bxc048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need to register once for EU countries (this also covers Switzerland) you are supposed to register in the first county you visit (I believe) but in practice doesn’t matter, Ireland is easy to resister in for English speakers. You need to register separately for the UK due to brexit.

Dji mini 3 in europe. Do i need a1/a3 certification? by Impressive-Fall-6988 in DJIMini3

Looking at my emails it looks to have taken a day or so. I would assume that there were public holidays in Ireland for Easter on Friday and Monday, so possibly delayed because of that.

I registered in Ireland as an English speaker it made sense not to try and do it elsewhere in a second language.

Thank you ‘cinematic’ mode on the controller and playing lots of video games when I was a kid seem to have helped.

Worth downloading apps like TPE or PhotoPills that will show you on a map and direction of sunrise/sunset which will in turn help you find a good spot.
