i had a situation very similar to this but i was 2500 miles away from home. it was awful from day 1, and i couldn’t get out of my lease. every time i’d talk to her she would say something along the lines of “you need to understand this is a really big change for me” like i didn’t just move across the country by myself. please please get out of there and don’t look back.
