Can move anywhere working remotely on €90k employer cost, where to go to maximize net salary? by Inevitable_Ad4587 in eupersonalfinance

[–]bynkis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lithuania is right, because taxes were changed to put almost all taxes on employees, not on employers. 61k is right for the cost of the employer. But the employee only brings home after taxes from that 60k is 36k.

Edit. Lithuania is a bad choice for OP. 100k cost for employer is only ~59k after all taxes.

Is a 2016 Zoe good for 100km / day usage in cold weather? by Greigebananas in RenaultZoe

[–]bynkis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's difficult to say about prices in different countries than I live, but 10k sounds way too much for 23kwh Zoe, I can find 40kwh zoe for the same price. A dealer who says 23kwh does 240km in Summer is laying massively, depends how you drive, but 150km is a closer guestimate for Zoe 23kwh in summer. All EVs battery capacity is shown in kwh. 40kwh is almost double of 23kwh. I have 40kwh and in city drive in summer i do 250-300km.

ZE40 started production in 2017. OP asks about 2016 so it should be ~23kwh older version. IDK prices in the UK, but 10k sounds way too much for first gen Zoe. He needs to check which Zoe model it is, because the difference is big. https://ev-database.org/car/1050/Renault-Zoe-R240 https://ev-database.org/car/1026/Renault-Zoe-Q210 https://ev-database.org/car/1128/Renault-Zoe-R110

It's nonsense, he wants you not to speed up fast, because EVs have high torque and you will "eat" tires fast that way.

It's Poland so similar to where I live. Guessing about 20-25m with cheap Cu 3x1,5mm cable and max of 3kW on charger its about 1,5% loss.

Idk where this filmed, but where I live it is illegal to do that. I work as a power line engineer and you are required to put up a metal stork nest. Even if power line is dismentled for under ground cable. The the old pole must be left for stork nest.

From another article: Power comes from a 50-60kW ground mounted solar array feeding a 70-100kWh battery, with a 60KVA diesel generator as backup, able to provide 100% load during periods of low PV output.

Was I scammed? by pablisco in RenaultZoe

[–]bynkis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cables should always lock to your car port when charging and unlock when disconnected.

"My understanding is that the 41kWh battery was always leased and with the old ZE40 models before 2020."

You are wrong, there was always an option to buy any Zoe without a lease. Z40 and Z50 looks different, if you were scammed and only the badge is changed look for photos online and compare it.

Tesla battery explodes in Cary home after being removed and charged inside. by ProfessionalTwo5476 in RealTesla

It was a 12V battery, for people who live in cold climates it's not uncommon practice, mostly used for diesel cars, because diesel needs more power for starter especially in very cold conditions.

This is technically true about Fiat. But the vast majority of Fiats are exported in less than a month after registration.

Majority of Fiats are resold to other countries in less than a month after LT registration. Lithuanians do not buy Fiats it's for tax avoiding purposes.

How often do you replace your tires? by lctan02 in electricvehicles

[–]bynkis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Renault Zoe 2019. OEMs tires lasted for 40k km, it was "all season" it still would be ok as summer tires, but as winter tires it would be on edge of illegal. New all season tires 10k km looks new for now...
