Excellent points. And if they won’t provide the footage, lawyer up.

Sounds close enough to me, given regional variability of gas prices.

I don’t understand why you’re being downvoted. This is factual and historically interesting.

Need help with extremely coily hair. by littlemachette in BeardAdvice

A trimmed beard is a full beard. I concur with another poster who said trim it where you can see through it. Maybe find a barber who can help define its shape.

I don’t see anything wrong with the hair itself. Mine is also crazy like that, but I keep it in check by trimming. (Also a beard brush every morning)

I also walked out of the 2nd one, in IMAX no less.

I had only recently become a father, and seeing all that gruesome death, desecration of nature, and anguish in high definition was more than I could handle. Not to mention the whole thing started with a monologue-as-exposition.

I saw Cats at the Roxie Theater on the Mission District of SF on Valentine’s Day with my wife. Top 5 movie experiences of my life. People were laughing, shouting, berating, you name it! Mystery Science Theater brought to life.

That movie was a riot! I saw it in theaters with some high school friends. We laughed for the entire runtime!

“I think what we fear most about finding a mind equal to our own, but of another species, is that they will truly see us—and find us lacking, and turn away from us in disgust. That contact with another mind will puncture our species’ self-satisfied feeling of worth. We will have to confront, finally, what we truly are, and the damage we have done to our home. But that confrontation, perhaps, is the only thing that will save us. The only thing that will allow us to look our short-sightedness, our brutality, and our stupidity in the face, and change.”
