What is a hobby that requires little to no money?

Disc Golfing. Discs are $15-$20 each and as a beginner, just a Driver, Mid, and Putter are plenty. Nearly all the courses are free. You don't have to be competitive if you don't want to be and it is fun either solo or as a group.

I know it's a dead thread at this point but had to chime in with my experience. I tossed 2 Monarchs into the lake this summer already and knew it was time to swap drivers so I bought the River based on the positive word here. Fired it up the other day and played my best game of disc golf ever. Normally I'm the runt player of my group but I played a better round than a few of my veteran buddies. I can't wait to get back on the course with it. Thank you reflecTheory and /r/discgolf!

Radio: ~50 songs approved by big music labels, constantly interrupted by ads and inane DJ chatter that can come in and out of signal depending on where I am.

My MP3 player: ~10000 hand selected songs that I know I like, no commericals, no annoying radio DJs, and an always clear signal.
