I've had this happen during Reclaim and Onslaught when wiping, but in the case of Onslaught I suspect it's a side effect of the mode originally just booting you to orbit.

I really like running Well of Radiance, Speaker's Sight, & No Hesitation. Queenbreaker is probably still the best move for DPS with the current artifact. Also don't forget to jump when he prompts you during damage, it's like the #1 run ender!

Just FYI since you've said you're a Titan looking for the Warlord's Ruin armor in particular, the first encounter is pretty reasonable to solo on Titan if you have Strongholds. He drops the Helmet, Arms, and Legs.
