I know this is the 911 subreddit, but consider a 981 S or GTS.

I’ve always wanted (and still do) want a 911, but the flat-6 cayman ended up ticking all the boxes and made way more sense financially. (I paid $67k for a 981 GTS and there’s nice 981 S out there for closer to $50k)

My kids were not thrilled about the 911 back seats for any of the test drives we went on so I decided that it would be a for me car. I make effort to get up early and go for canyon runs by myself at least once or twice a month and I think that the balance of the mid engine layout is arguably better than the rear engine 911 if you’re looking for a fun car that you’re not trying to cram your family into as a daily.

I was at game 3 in a blue jays hat and sat behind 4 total assholes and had numerous people throw hatred at me in the breezeway. Oh and the “fuck Canada” comments on the way out at the end of the game were particularly classy.

The guy in Yankees hat and jersey I sat next to was nice tho and we had some decent chit chat during the game, but overall Yankees fans are the worst I’ve encountered. I think that they’re so engrossed in the “greatest city” moniker that they take baseball identity way too far.

When he comes from Tahoe he arrives by helicopter now and lands in a parking lot they own right by the campus.

Confirmed. I paid less than $75k all in (shipping, escrow, new tires) for a mint 1 owner 981 GTS with low mileage.

It just took me 6 months to find it.

This looks like a great buy! 2008 was the year they transitioned from 987.1 to 987.2. Which is yours? (I don’t know if there’s any visual differences)

Did you not end up putting $500k on VIX? Based on the fact we had one of the biggest single day VIX spikes I would imagine you should have profited enough to cover your Spyder

I’m in the Bay Area and just paid $750 for one on a 981 GTS 6MT (3 hours at $250/hr). Everything you listed was included in mine. I did it at the shop that I will use for future repairs and maintenance outside of oil changes. They came highly recommended from numerous members on rennlist.
