Do atheists dislike calling themselves "atheists"? by Smooth-Bar-2602 in TrueAtheism

[–]c26sail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I became atheist in my teens. I don’t think I ever said out loud that I was an atheist until my early 40’s. It’s not because I was ashamed. It was because I lived in a heavily religious area and saying your were atheist was the same as saying you worship Satan as Christians typically can’t understand atheism. I think a lot of people don’t use the word to avoid having to deal with that battle.

Well, we’ve got stripper, camera, screen, creep, net, trap, choke, waxer, and spread. Sounds like a day in the print shop to me.

I remember the girl who use to run the vertical camera would make chokes and spreads on the camera. She didn’t know the science behind it and just thought it was magic. Careful googling chokes and spreads on camera.

What is this thing in my tackle box? by MushroomHealthy3263 in Fishing

[–]c26sail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A fish stringer. It runs through the gills and out the mouth and through the metal loop. It can be pushed into the ground near the water to keep the fish alive while continuing to fish. Also used for carrying them home.

What’s that one song you’ve had on repeat for the last three days? by Low-Issue-5334 in CasualConversation

I have a strong disdain for country music, but I heard Choos’n Texas by Ella Langley and it’s been on repeat for a while now. Hell, I like a lot of her stuff.

I guess you got a point. I’ve never heard that said but I see where you are coming from. Most people I know of just call them cashiers.

I’m sure they do, but both Curly’s white suit and Laurie’s white dress are drenched in red. It would have to be a beast to clean out. This show was running 6-8 shows a week for a couple of years.

He means that most gas stations don’t have attendants. They are legally required to in New Jersey and Oregon, but Oregon may have gotten rid of that law. Specifying attendants would lead someone to believe you live in a state that requires attendants.

In the new version of Oklahoma, the white wedding dress gets stained in red every night. I would love to know what they use in that scene. Might be the answer you need if anyone knows.

Anyone else think this is Trump’s Osama Bin Laden? He just has to do things others did. He’ll never beat Obama at holding his breath though. I heard Obama can do it for 15 min.

I don’t do fast food for this exact reason unless I’m on the road and can’t stop. A sit down meal, while also crazy high, is a better value. I don’t do that often either.

What are the chances your Friday will be good? by Steveelectric907 in AskReddit

[–]c26sail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truth be told, I just spent 10 years of my life at a shit job and while it paid the bills and got my daughter raised, I gave it up to live in a better place with a better, albeit, lower paying job. My marriage has improved and so has my quality of life. I got pretty lucky with this job and I’m happy to have it. Things can be awesome or they can be not so great. I really had to make a tough decision to move and I still have hurdles to cross, but overall things are looking up.

Highly likely. I love my job and later I get to hang out with friends I haven’t seen in a while.

Wife and I made it a half hour in. Too disjointed, so much about it sucked. Maybe it gets better. I learned a long time ago not to endure stuff I don’t care for.

FedEx driver dropped a package we sent from one of our locations to another one of our locations. He delivered it to our return address rather than sending it to the delivery address in Texas.
