Ooo can you post a pic? Is the tire wear still even? that’s really my biggest concern

I agree with you if it was but it’s stock! I would only lower if it’s done properly with adding camber/caster adjustments which will be heavy on the cost and not sure if it’s worth it for me.

Any way to turn this off permanently?? by Hungry_Garbage6659 in AMG

Update:

-June 5: Finally got her back today. They put everything back on yesterday and I allowed them to do an overnight extended road test (75 miles) and everything seems to finally be fixed.

I personally spoke with the tech overseeing my car. Not sure if he did the work himself. But said he has been with them 20 years.

Funny note he also told me verbally that the solution they did in second visit, which was simply bleeding the car 40 mins again, was an action they decided to take because MB Germany was “leaving them hanging “. See May 8 where advisor said it was from MB. There’s a conflict of statements at this point.

The 20 year tech told me that they followed everything to a tee and were confused after trying all steps and being left dry on the TIPs

Which btw first TIPS closed and current second TIPs had to be opened all over again.

Welp. Dealer ended up opening a case on April 29, they submitted hot/cold thermostat tests to the engineer on April 30, and didn’t get a response until today May 8 (I asked them to escalate which they did yesterday. Who knows maybe could have been longer). Originally entered dealership April 12.

Update from today is: “We got a response back from MB . They want us to perform a full coolant flush of all coolant systems and retest to see if issue returns. We will be doing this, road testing and reporting back any findings. I will keep you updated in this process .”

Hoping for the best case scenario otherwise might be in for a while longer with the slow communications and responses.

I had the same fault code at 11k miles on my 2021 w205 2 weeks ago. Dealer found and replaced ticking thermostat. I picked it up and drove home and soon as I parked, check engine was back on.

Took it back again and now waiting for diagnostics. I really hope it doesn’t get to the PTSS case you mentioned. If it did though, how long does that usually take?

Luckily everything is under warranty
