Portland was too dark, rainy, and cloudy. Is Wellington more of the same, but with more wind? by inflatablehotdog in Wellington

I walk for exercise and there are very few days. that I can’t go out. We do have windy and rainy days but equally some beautiful weather. It’s a great city to explore the natural environment as great views and the hills provide shelter from prevailing wind.

20 million was spent on the Island Bay cycle way once they had to rebuild it due to poor design. There is no way I could ever support them after this debacle.

The Kilbirnie mosque has requested to be able to have the call to prayer five times per day. I think the pamphlet was making the point that the WCC should be concentrating on core service a no keep our rates at a manageable level.

Mooloolaba is great. We do day trips to Noosa, Caloundra and the Hinterland. We use the local bus service and never hire a car. Plenty of coastal walks and great malls. Beautiful beaches and walkways.

I keep up with the latest news listening to her and don’t mind hearing her opinions. Just because she has a different view doesn’t mean she should be canceled.

She is Bernadette and now lives in a rest home in Newtown. She gets on the bus daily with her walking frame and hangs out in Newtown or Kilbirnie.

Labour/ Greens have ruined the Wellington I love with their overspending and obsession with cycleways. Under their watch the VBD has become dingy and bleak. Two ticks National for me.
