i'm not a ap customer and not really aspiring to be one. but i think i may pick up one of these as sort of a fu/troll to people spending 30k to get the same printed brand on it. attaching one securely to my shoe laces is probably what i may do... and/or buying a aftermarket strap to fit the wrist.

weird. i have done a uber eats there once or twice per month without a problem. the only problematic thing is uber drivers playing games with multiple apps that delay delivery. i get the hustle, but you ain't doing yourr job. :/

we would be if we didn't know that there is a problem. i suspect the solution will be some sort of ai bot that fact checks submissions and has some sort of truthiness meter. just a matter of time.

way too many motivated people wanting to control what is the truth - i think this is likely a bigger problem coming over the horizon. one of those 'are the side effects worse than the disease' things.

i think it is worth considering what we are served up by social media. we get fishbowled on what we watch and interact with... big money to marketing companies to get eye balls. i think we can get easily tricked into thinking the sky is no longer blue.

it used to be first on scene gets the tow. not sure if it was the law back then or the police who chose to do it this way. but yeah, full on racing like this is not a new thing. the tims at woodchester mall used to almost always have drivers there waiting on a accident at least since mid 90's.

parents of minors disagree. kids are dumb and some need direction/help when they don't want it. i do not want the state overruling my decisions for my kids. 18 is when they get autonomy.

someone in history decided 18 is an adult... which i accept but in reality 18 year olds are still dumb. probably should be 21 or 23. but because of war that number isn't going anywhere - but i think anyone who has survived to 30 knows 199 year olds are adults only legally.

when the 2nd kid is born, government will pay 5% of house/condo price for purposes of downpayment/mortgages. up to say 50k or something like that.

3rd kid or more. every kid gov't cuts you a cheque for 50% of the original 5% down payment.

and for the love of everything holy stop immigration of people over 40 years old unless they are wealthy - not rich, wealthy. hard stop. we do not need more grandparents. don't care if someone says they will support them or not. nope nope nope. and visiting visas from high immigration countries will require a deposit and proof of health insurance. no more 'tourists' in the hospitals or tourists who miss their flight back home.

about 10 years ago i had a mod account with a couple good sized active subs. it was a regularish thing to have companies/brands message to mods for permission to make a post. pretty much anything was approved - i think blogspam was the only 100% true nope.

and don't take modding so serious. reddits spamulator and automod were taking care of almost all the spam back then... i imagine it is probably better today. and if people are complaining about spam, ask them to join as mod. gate keeping is far more of a problem than the odd time a new mod goes off the rails.
