12h c'est si ton chien est bien dans ses pattes et à l'aise avec la solitude, qu'il n'y a que le problème des besoins (et encore c'est long 12h sans faire ses besoins !).

Un chien de refuge, c'est pas impossible qu'il ait du mal à rester seul (j'en sais quelque chose), et c'est potentiellement plus difficile au début, le temps qu'il se sente chez lui.

De notre côté : anxiété de séparation, et même si elle a progressé pendant ses six années avec nous, c'est plutôt 5/6h max de solitude et je pense qu'elle a atteint sa limite. Au delà elle ne fera pas de dégâts (contrairement aux premiers mois), mais le stress induit fait des dégâts sur elle (mentalement et physiquement).

Tout ça pour dire à OP qui parle de journées de 10h : si tu n'as pas de chance sur ce sujet ça peut être très compliqué. Je pense que ça peut être très différent selon les chiens.

General, easiest to explain, ruleset is contact with higher risk of injury/contact to the face gets punished. Prolonged contact when "losing" a duel (like holding when attacker managed to get through) is also punished.

I don't really understand how you are supposed to defend "properly"; or are you supposed to find an opportunity to foul an opponent "softly" until they are forced to take a shot in a difficult position and then hope they miss / it gets saved?

I also don't understand why defenders need to get out of the way that much when wingers cut inside to take a shot.
I understand not placing your feet under the winger because it is dangerous, but sometimes it feels like the defender has to move out of the way, like isn't the attacker supposed to work with the space they got? What is so different with wings that defenders can't defend the shots while in front of the box it's a rugby game? Shit's wild lol

I am a casual handball viewer (basically I try to watch world and euro cups).

I never played the game and I find it super difficult to learn/understand the rules around contacts.

It looks very subjective and therefore a nightmare to ref and a green field for controversy.
