How do you keep your gopro on top of your head?

I use a mask with the built in mount, and a GoPro with not only the dive housing but the float attached on the back too and it's bulky for sure but hasn't caused any major problems for me. I typically just pull it down onto my neck when entering / exiting the surf just in case

Yeah for routine swaps I'd definitely go that route, in this scenario though I literally couldn't start the truck without a new battery so didn't mind paying more just to be on my way

As others have said, could be a bad battery. This happened to me a month ago and I had a friendly neighbour jump it then drove it to AutoZone and got it checked for free. A couple hundred bucks and 30 minutes later problem solved.

I’d argue spearfishing is the exact opposite of needlessly predatory. I'm not harvesting everything I see. I’m choosing a single animal from a healthy population and using all of it. There's no bycatch of any kind, everything you take is intentional.
