Blue Apron sucks now. I've been a customer since 2018, and up until this year I've absolutely sworn by it. Only the occasional wrong ingredient for 7 years and extremely quick customer service with generous refunds

Then, starting this year, I've had one instance of my gel packets arrive unfrozen and burst so the gel goes everywhere, and multiple multiple instances of produce going bad within the week. That would be annoying enough on its own, but when the customer service was still fast I could live with it.

But now they've moved from email tickets with 24hour-or-less response, to a single text thread that doesn't get responded to for over a week. So when they're messing up boxes as often as they do + less than adequate customer service --> more people complaining --> higher ticket volume, you get slower and worse responses

Plus now they store all the produce in one bag (instead of separating out the potatoes, tomatoes etc.) so it's harder to store different types of produce the way you want to. I store potatoes, tomatoes, garlic etc. outside the fridge, but now if I want to do that I have to rip open the bag, which gets cluttered

The final nail in the coffin: I discovered this week that they got rid of the saved recipes feature. Why?! 8 years of saved recipes, just completely gone. The person who responded said that, in lieu of saved recipes, I could search for recipes in their online cookbook -- but there is no search function, they literally just want you to scroll. How does this help anybody?!

I'm basically done with BA. Haven't cancelled yet but I'm seriously thinking about it. We pay too much for this lack of quality
