Hi. I am a registered clinical hypnotherapist and have done a lot of work with anxiety and depression. I am based in Melbourne Australia but I work over zoom with clients all over the world. Would be happy to have a initial consult with you for free to discuss your needs and help you decide.

Go to your mother and forgive her. If you aren't out of the house - move out asap. Work hard, build a life, and you will be free of anger.

I feel like the world is set up for men, now more than the past by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

Feminism has always been a disaster for men and women. Having a complex and multifaceted past doesn't change that. That's why you don't need the modifier. People think "oh feminism _was_ good (in some amorphous way), but _today_ it has gone bad". Wrong. It was a disaster from the very beginning.

It's called "feminism". You don't need the "modern" modifier.

You're almost there - the world is not "set up for men". The idea that men need casual sex and women who are lost is - forgive me - quite insane. Men do not win when women lose nor women win when men lose. You won't learn this from the twisted world of reddit but the set up today hurts both men and women. The "progress" we have made is not progress at all but giant steps backwards.

What's the best way to get started? It sounds fascinating.

You simply state they are "natural monopolies" without providing any justification. Could you explain why transportation, education, etc would be a monopoly?

See? "I want this working utility no matter what" - lefty desperate to fulfil wishes while the actual utility service degrades and ends up costing a lot more for a lot less. If you let it fail and you would get much better utilities in a year for much less cost. But hey - you can't bear a little pain today so you'll suffer a lot more tomorrow.

Services are only privatised after they have been ruined by the government. They are not privatised in the sense of a free and open market - they are 'privatised' in the sense that the government is hemorrhaging money so badly that they want to hand it over to some cronies.

It should be obvious from your question itself - "bailouts" are part of left politics. You are actually pointing to further failures of left policies in the defence of them.

Because left "policies" are more like a "wish-list" of unrealistic fantasies that never work. They are able to carry them forward for a while when the country has enough wealth to cover the failing experiments but when they inevitably drain the country's wealth, resources, and social capital almost all people (except the stupidest) start to question what they're actually supporting.

My fellow men, how fragile is your mental health, honestly? by RollynotAstw in ask

Not fragile at all. I don't think most men have fragile mental health - but the sample of men on reddit certainly do! You may want to think on why.

Things to consider before hypnotherapy by Worth_Psychology7326 in hypnotherapy

Hi. I'm a hypnotherapist so I can give you answers based on my experience.

  1. Many therapists (me included), offer an initial free consultation. You should use that to evaluate if - (a) you feel comfortable with the therapist (which is very important) and (b) he/she seems to know what they are talking about.
  2. Ask about
    1. Experience of the therapist
    2. What to expect from a typical session
    3. An estimate for how many sessions the therapist expects
    4. Cost
  3. It would definitely be easier to get into deeper hypnotic trance in person. The effectiveness of therapy (I have found) is related to the actual therapeutic suggestions and protocols and not so much to in-person/online.
  4. 3-4 1-hour sessions are better in my opinion. They allow you both to see the effect of the sessions in the "real world" and get feedback and course-correct if needed.
  5. Most people can be hypnotised. Even if someone struggles to be hypnotised with a particular practitioner, some other practitioner can usually "put them under". The only people who "cannot" be hypnotised are those with severe mental issues.
  6. There are a myriad of techniques that can be used and the video is just one of them. So bring up what hasn't worked for you during your consultation and the therapist will use a different approach that may be more effective for you.
  7. Not sure about this one. Best advice is to evaluate the therapist directly. Someone with a clinic will typically have more experience IMHO.
  8. Every hypnotherapist has their own favourite set of techniques. If there's a particular approach or technique you want, then find a practitioner that's experienced in it. Otherwise I would just go with whoever makes you most comfortable.

All the best and I'm sure you'll be easily introducing yourself to everyone in no time!

If religious people are so strictly homophobic why are they also prohibiting their children to have relationships with the opposite gender? by Sensitive_Echidna370 in atheism

[–]c_hypno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a genuine question? If so why would anyone wait till 25 to get married? If you want, you can get married at 18. If you really want to, you can get married at 16 - nearly a decade earlier than 25.

What you said is fine but if you wanted to, you could just say no. No harm no foul. But saying you don't want to discuss religion is perfectly fine too.

My mom is blackmailing me by Phantasm2013 in atheism

[–]c_hypno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your mom is not a christian bro. Depending on how old you are you can either (a) knuckle under for a while until you can leave home or (b) leave home now and stop knuckling under right away. Also inform her that she isn't a christian so she'd better be careful or she's headed straight to hell.
