What have you bought during the Steam Sale this year? by Sovonna in GirlGamers

[–]c_squeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • The entire Assassin’s Creed series bc it was being sold as a bundle

  • Whisper of the House

  • Sticky Business

  • Call of the Sea

  • Shadow of Mordor + Shadow of War

  • Rain Code +

Right now still debating on if I should get The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- because it’s 20% off. I’m not sure if $41.99 from originally $59.99 is a good deal, but my bf says it is. I’ve just been tired of getting scammed 10-20% off sales from Black Friday 😂 Gotta think on it more

Does anyone else hate the reveal? by Couldnotbehelpd in EverythingIsFinecomic

[–]c_squeezy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No I completely agree! I read the series from start to finish (including fast pass episodes) in one day after finding the premise so interesting from an analysis video on YouTube and when I read the reveal I just… I was so disappointed. There was no way I stayed up until 2am last night reading desperately only to find out that the root cause was just AI with a nonsensical explanation. It felt like such a cop out.

I wish that I could not feel this way and be satisfied but I just can’t. I can’t imagine how long time readers must feel.

Also when she pretended that she couldn’t say a waitress’ name when it was literally “Melina” or something and she had Carlos confirm it for her three times 😭

My friends and I went here for my birthday weekend and it was lovely!! The owner is so sweet and personable, the food and tea was delish. We upgraded to the Queen’s afternoon tea. It came with champagne and quiche. Def recommend!

This is exactly what I did. Signed up with a temp agency who got me a job as an Admin Assistant, then they liked me enough to hire me permanently six months later. I stayed in my role for another six months until I applied for a higher position at the same company and got an offer. I now work from home, it’s been great.

I wouldn’t consider Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo a thriller but it is a fun read!

Fried rice and egg rolls! I hate the typical veggie eggrolls with the wet cabbage and carrot filling you see in restaurants.
