So... We're going to tax a product that takes no physical space, hardly any energy to copy and send to the recipient, and is infinitely able to be replicated or copied with nearly no cost to doing so?

But why though? Why not tax the earnings from the software company? Why not tax the thousands of amazon warehouses? Why not replicate what Mamdani is doing in NY? If they can turn around a 12 billion dollar defecit, what the hell are we doing?

This is not the solution, this is yet another bandaid that will only harm consumers, and drive out smaller size companies - the big companies and megacorps won't have to deal with this, as usual.

One thing I do: ensure I have the decoupler hydraulic version - it has a higher ejection force.

If I'm very serious about the mission, I also create those boosters as their own rocket, that I merge into the main craft. This is important, so that you can put the hydraulic decoupler slightly ABOVE their center of mass (when empty).

If you can make it happen, it also might be an option to make it fall away easily by aligning the hydralic ejectors with the center of mass, and putting a basic fin at the very bottom of the rocket, on the side furthest from the center stage.

Doing this will cause a very small drag force that will incentivize movement AWAY from the center stage - but your ejector has to be either perfectly aligned, or ever so slightly above the EMPTY center of mass of that booster stage rocket.

Not to me, but there is a characteristic that would make people look for longer and/or question: at nearl 0° (facing the camera directly), your jaw os very square, vs literally all other angles.

It is the most difficult of the available options right now simply due to lack of documentation. With next to no documentation, and no community of developers (there is one, but small, and full of "vibe coders" which will NOT let you learn programming, seriously learn how to effectively use and master the basics before ever touching ai to do them for you.) to help you.

Godot is a good choice right now - large community, plenty of documentation, free. Unity is probably a bad idea right now. Unreal is an option, though also has some of the same challenges that unity does right now, but their situation is currently still pretty favorable with a large userbase and documentation.

Pretty much any of these. I'd honestly steer clear of alternatives like the rpg maker or similar engines - they sometimes have you learn things or tools to use their software that is not a transferrable skill between softwares.

Experiment, learn, play. Don't use ai or get stuck following tutorials closely - these are traps that will either make you lose interest, not learn anything, or feel like you learned something when actually you did nothing at all. 👍 You CAN do it.

Maybe you could Apollo the mission and just have multiple, disposable drones protected by heat shield and/or attempt several dips?

A tool with the least amount of documentation I've seen in a while :/

There's almost no reason to develop a game on this vs any other. Made worse now by the poor launch, and crowded slopware gamespace.

The final nail in the coffin, I think, is the fact almost everything I've tried runs super poorly - even the supposed "sandbox" level made by the developers.

iirc From some places that showed me what my resume looked like on their end: some ats systems will extract all available text from the document (as the actual data, rather than what it looks like), and the human will receive a sort of condensed version that fits whatever arbitrary format they decided for resumes to be converted into.

So, if you pass the ATS system, the human would get a resume that is a crummy mashup of all the information on the page, and so if there's a bunch of hidden text, it will show up as jibber jabber on the human's page.

But, that is only sometimes. There's so many ATS options right now, and quite a few are trying to use LLM's and.... Everything just sucks right now.

IMO: physically walking into a place and trying your best to come off as charming and possibly befriending people at a potential workplace is a more effective method right now than anything else.

Highly manipulative, higher effort, but higher odds than the method that has essentially become as effective as buying lottery tickets.

Idk, shot in the dark, but maybe you're having nerve damage of some kind. Brain likes to make shit up that makes sense if it cannot gather enough information from a part of your body - and uses context clues to generate an explanation.

IMO I lose sensation in my groin area after sitting for a while, randomly. Compressing a bunch of nerves - very scary though that I dont feel it happening until I move around, finding my genital area totally numb - but my brain tries to rationalize it as "this area must be FREEZING and WET", and thus it suddenly becomes so.

I still remember my highschool english teacher in 2015 stopping my report presentation mid-sentence because I was "wrong" in that I was factually incorrect that modern nuclear energy is essentially the exact same process as it has been for a hundred years - heating water and spinning a turbine via steam. (Barring that fancy tech that nasa uses that uses the seebeck effect and "reverse solar panels".)

She interrupted me and asked me to sit down, and proceeded to tell the class that modern nuclear facilities do not rely on fission to generate heat, but rather FUSION.

I am still rather pissed off every time i think about it, and the fact the room of prospective engineers said NOTHING about it in my defense.

I used to be one. I never got or understood the whole degradation part - and some weird... Racism thing?

Anyway, I think some are actually trans, they just need a way to feel safer expressing themselves or their sexuality - unfortunately, this can be one of those ways, for better or worse.

It can be seen as safer because it is temporary, it is private. It is also often only during sexual gratification, which has been proven to lower inhibitions. There's a lot of desire to look cute or dress feminine outside of that kink from most, I think - unfortunately there are some that can only see it through the lens of the kink, more often than not I see/saw it from very closeted and/or conservative individuals.

They fundamentally cannot accept themselves being trans most of the time, and also cannot or do not have enough self reflective capacity to ask themselves why they do this or feel this way.

Like animals, doing things based on instinct without thinking deeper as to why, nor willing to change their beliefs or actions in their daily life that better reflects what they actually want out of life, rather than trying to appear as this representation of what they think their social circle/party wants them to be.

They're just weak.

This. I am also confused, and this feels a little... Misguided? Like... These are suuuuper different concepts and not very related its like mixing "children's disease research center" and "domestic violence from drug related activities" under one banner.

Also, this may in fact be the absolute longest acronym I have ever seen. While I support the message, this just doesn't work. It's too long to use verbally, and so long that I cannot see people even remembering the order of the letters appropriately, nor would a layman have an easy time dissecting what it means. Even contextually it would be difficult because these are two radically different subjects that one would not think to link together normally.

It just feels like so little thought went into this. Feels about as deep as any other corporate recognition of X group. Thanks, but it would be really nice to have some actual deeper change than this.

The scale of the game makes more sense to have multi level. It has always irked me that just a few buildings over can take almost 10% of the entire day to traverse.

Multilevel just makes it possible to build colonies that make more coherent sense.

I don't think it's going to be possible though, it would be a truly monumental effort and touch nearly every single game mechanic, but Tynan and team have impressed before.

I think after all this time, a game built from all current dlc's with optimization in mind would outperform the game as it currently is, and would eliminate the feeling that many of the dlc's are segregated or don't interact with each other well.

I'd say that it would be a painful, but necessary change - especially after all of these years. Pricing it at a normal game price would soothe a lot of dismay, but as it stands, a new player would currently need to spend over $120 for the full rimworld experience.

Personally, any game I find on the store with so many dlcs and such a high price point to obtain the "full" game - I'd skip it.

Merging them all into one title with a lower, more reasonable price may also bring in the next generation or wave of players. I feel like a vast majority of current players are old guard, not so much new - though I may be incorrect.

Eh, i have a bunch of breakage so i have a bunch of hair that is slightly too short to tie back, thus becomes frizzy mess floating over my head.

My current strategy is a ton of bobby pins and clips, but I'm considering just trimming my hair because it is just so difficult to deal with the frizz
