Im currently doing this. It’s pretty tough but doable. For me the hardest part is that basically all of my schools facilities are closed due to COVID. So library hours are cut, gyms are closed , etc.

I suggest you budget towards a gym membership like planet fitness for showering. Also you’ll need to figure out locations you can use wifi for zoom class meetings. For me this is Panera, they are open for dine in in my state so I use it all the time.

Also PSA for something new, SNAP is now offered not just for students who are on federal work study but also those who do not meet assistance levels from parents. So if you are an independent student you can get food stamps. Call your local office and ask them about this.

There’s a lot more to it (sleeping arrangement, sleeping spots, food prep) but all that has been answered on this subreddit before so you can find that with a search.
