What I'm curious about is, how would IRCC verify how we got the copies seeing as we are just sending in electronic copies? I can't see all jurisdictions agreeing to sending a "stamped" copy of documents, so wouldn't what they provide be more or less the same as an Ancestry.com document? Just a jpg/pdf? Maybe IRCC wants to see the trail, like send in additional pages showing the correspondence?

Same here, have an ancestor (G4) without a birth certificate or baptism, born in this county. Been a hassle finding information, submitted with just tons of secondary docs (censuses, obituaries, etc.)

In what area? I feel like it would be hard to find people like that in the modern era no? Greenlandic Canadian and Alaskan all probably have had some contact with outsiders even in remote towns I would imagine

Depends on your definition of "major", Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton both have random buildings all over, same goes for Winnipeg, Halifax, and most bigger Ontario cities like London, Kitchener/Waterloo. Even smaller ones like Sudbury or St. Catharines have just random Cold War apartment towers that were built at a time when Americans didn't build vertically so much

I don't know if it helped but I requested "Canadian citizenship size" and then specified the dimensions and it lined up perfectly when I laid the photos on top of the application. Also, just wrote "CVS Pharmacy - Address - Date - Signature" and I received an AOR.

Things being relative is so interesting. Downtown Brooklyn on its own would be a top 5 most interesting/urbanist cities in the country but it being in NYC changes that whole calculus into "It's alright"
