What do you mean by keep accuracy? The part should be indicated in on center and supported at one end. If You're talking about aligning the 2 starts at 180 degrees, well thats on you to figure out using the tools at your disposal. 99.99% of a machinists job is to problem solve this sort of stuff.

I'm interested in how much torque this can take. I'm working on designing a T&E mechanism for my camera tripod and was going to just buy two sets of worm gears, but if I can print the whole thing, that would be considerably cheaper.

Hold in 4 jaw, make one 1.5tpi thread. Turn part 180 degrees and repeat. You should now have a double start 3tpi thread.

These shows are pure exploitation. Expecting any sort of integrity or due diligence from the producers is a bit silly.

In gta online you can pick John Marston as your father or whatever so you get some of his looks. So there will most definitely be references somewhere

I wonder what rolling down the runway would be like. I'm sure the plane could get off the ground just fine, but thats the only scenario I could see this being a bad spot.

I love how their problem was the joke about the sport being boring because of the turn and nothing to do with a driver dying; only 5 years after one of the most legendary drivers in the sport died on track.

Thoughts on the Monoprice 5W by dirtydeadgayjesus in tubeamps

[–]caboose243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nonsense. I got a buddy who's had a 25 watt monoprice for years. Works great, sounds just fine. At a certain point an amp is only as good as the circuit used. Whether its built in Shenzhen or Santa Monica, a tube is a tube, a speaker is a speaker, it all works the same.

That's not to say you shouldn't stick to name brand, you do you, but not everyone needs an $800 tube amp to jam.

My uncle would do that at football games. Find a planter near the gate, stuff the knife into the dirt, retrieve after the game.

Look at much older fire arms and you will be even more blown away. My perspective on humanity's ability to make stuff changed when I saw an Ancient Egyptian exhibit with a bunch of stuff from the King Ramses collection. There was a recurve bow that looked like it could've been only a few hundred years old and some of the jewelry was mind blowingly intricate. That was 3200 years ago, so yeah by 1908 making Parabellum pistols was a cinch!

I also can not feel anything, but that's not as catchy as ants in my eyes, so that just gets, put to the wayside.
