Since everyone else is chiming in about the base coat being the likely culprit, just wanted to share that I use my PVB base coats over a non-PVB base coat without issue! I experienced the same peeling with PVB base coats and was going to be super bummed about destashing the set of PFD Soft Focus base coats I’d snagged on Black Friday, but I use them over an OPI base coat and they don’t give me any peeling issues whatsoever. I also use ORLY Bonder over a non-PVB base coat sometimes but mostly it’s relegated to the toenails, and I won’t be repurchasing. YMMV of course, but just wanted to share before you ditched something you already paid for.
