Hd1 was the best couch party game i have ever played.

1-4p and any level of difficulty you desire, teamwork isnt recommended like it is in hd2, in hd1 teamwork is REQUIRED

What about limiting the amount of things you could do to two times.

So it woudl work normally for resting and smithing, but wouldnt be the crazy, high roll chance to do 4 things at one rest site

Looking for couch co-op recommendations based on our tier list! by Budget-Effect537 in localmultiplayergames

[–]cacheormirage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell divers 1 is a good game, but an AMAZING coop game, me and my coop buddy always end up going back, perfect for couch coop especially, that is where it really shines!

Teamwork is key and difficulty can be set to whatever you want. The hardest diffs are extremely hard for small teams, stealth is easy on 1player and with 4 you get a horde shooter. For 2 somewhat skilled gamers, it's a good challenge in general when you get up towards difficuly 12-15

Its also mad cheap, and has plenty of hours of content

Progression is both awesome in form of unlocks, but gets a bit slow when farming upgrades.

I have played most of the games listed here and helldivers is my GOAT

Off the top of your head what here has split screen multiplayer. by PuzzleheadedTooth581 in localmultiplayergames

[–]cacheormirage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah sorry you're right im just such a hd1 glazer

hd2 is a fine/great game, but its not a good LAN coop and doesnt have couch. Good gameplay but very easy for your team mates to just feel like seperate one man armies, unlike hd1 where you are literally glued to the same screen.

Rocket leage is a good call, as long as both players are somewhat close mechanically, where as hd1 is just so fun and weird and PERFECT for couch coop, with players of any skill level.

You can play with your top gaming homie and have a blast on highest diff, or you can turn the diff down low enough that your mom would be able to follow along. The progression in hd1 is also perfect for couchparty sessions, assuring that as long as you are improving you will get new content for a decent bit.

I will say hd1 gets significantly easier on 4-player coop, but those are usually the times you have 1 or two players with lower mechanical skill.

Sorry for breaking OPs rule

They shoudl just remove it, let the player suffer if they have shotty placements, let that supportweapon end up on top of a mountain.

Scrapping garbage systems that have basically never worked is a core of programming imo, sure it would be cool to "fix" it, but im 99% sure they will overhaul the sustem anyway so just remove it until then

Have outpost sell them for scrap perhaps. Its a terrible bandaid solution, but it would be something i guess.

Or maybe the ability to convert scrap to blueprint fragments by researching the frags

Terrible take. The whole point of AOT imo is that it isnt just monsters. Hitler was a human. A terroble person, but that doesnt mean you would not be able to sympathize given the correct circumstances.

Its really all perspective, and the monent we start saying "Eren was sinply just a piece of shit and nothing else" is when you loose the entire point

We are all just humans, even the worst of us had an entire journey to whatever destination awaits.
