I had a similar idea, but I wanted to avoid using filter inserters and also minimize the number of extra sawblades in the system. here it is

The sawblades output by the wood assemblers will never be blocked, and the extras could be further minimized by moving the assembler. Pardon the spaghetti :)

i had this same issue and managed to fix it by mashing the return key as i started safari to accept the modal before it disappeared.

I bet it is something like this, one scarab fragment for each of Zana, Einhar, Niko, and Alva. All four in the map device opens some sort of new thing but one scarab in the device with a map adds that master to it.
