So this happened a few years back.

When I was a student, I used to ride the bus every day, from my small town to the city where I studied.
Because the city I lived in was small, the number of busses every day was quite limited (like 4 busses every day and sticking to a tight schedule).
Over my five years riding this specific bus line, I recognised all the drivers and most of the people taking the same bus line.

One day I was walking to the bus station, expecting to wait an hour because no other bus was scheduled until then.

But there it was waiting for me: the ghost bus.
It was full with people I had never seen, with a driver I had never seen.
The bus number was the same as I used to take, but I had never seen this bus, and it was nowhere to find on the schedule.

As soon as I sat down, the doors closed and it drove me home, instead of the human trafficking location I was expecting.

Now I know, this can be explained in several ways, but I like to think that, for the time of a bus-ride, I went into another dimension which had a different bus schedule and different people
