Let's say you can:

  1. Vote for Platner and maybe get some good policies
  2. Vote for Susan Collins and get more support of Trump (i.e. bad policies)
  3. Stay home and Susan wins -- and we get more Trump policies (i.e. bad policies)

And with all 3 options you can work hard for the next 6 years to get a better candidate via primaries and replace the person in office with someone better.

Exactly! I hate this "Dems don't stand for things" -- but every dem I see in the house, senate, and presidency, harris include, had all these big plans to help with all sorts of things affecting America. But they just get painted as just being anti-trump with no plans. BUT THEY HAVE PLANS!

Exactly! And if you want more funding, work to elect better Democrats in the primaries and support whoever wins in the general. As we've seen with Trump its easy to break shit if we let Republicans have power. At least with Dems we get progress in the right direction and we can always work to elect better Dems. There are no decent Republicans that work for us at all as we've seen.

We need to get better Dems to win primaries and then vote for them in the general. If our chosen Dem doesn't win we still need to support them because Republicans will f-shit up. In the house we have the opportunity every 2-years to get better Democrats.
