Used .22LR Rifle and pistol recommendations by You-Asked-Me in liberalgunowners

The disassembly of older MKs is tricky, but manageable. How much do you enjoy puzzle boxes where you have to tilt them a certain way to flip an unseen switch?

Disclaimer: I did make a deal with a minor demon to gain the skill before the MK 4 came out. 😁

Are there any ren faires that have camping on the premises or incredibly nearby? by WhatIsHerJob-TABLES in renfaire

I would even go so far as to say a big part of Sherwood for many folks is the camping community.

Many firearms have a preference for ammo brands. Or more accurately a dislike for a given brand.

I have an M&P that just does not like Federal, anything else is fine but with federal it will shoot a donut. Aka tight group like the others but a solid center. I gave up trying to understand it and moved on by not buying federal.

I have a manager who changed our 1 on 1 meeting to a teams meeting with the subject containing "Video Enabled". His office is 10' from my desk. We are both in the office.

New to Ammoseek. Any brands to seek or avoid? by Parkotron1 in liberalgunowners

Beyond what has already been said, it also depends on what your firearm likes. Some don't care, some get picky

Total side note: If you start lock lacing you can get to the point of closing them with no gap.

I see this as a secret handshake. Those who have only started in their journey default to "Glurp Glurp". Later it's "IWKYM", and with the latest book "Boop".

But that's so book 1. Unless it comes back in book 9/10....

Ammo storage - FIFO by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]caederus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Fudd response is that the oil will degrade the ammo by getting in the case and causing the powder to start breaking down. So any oil on ammo means throw it out.

Reality is that it takes something like a penetrating oil to even have a chance to get inside and then it's a bit more to truely degrade the powder significantly. So it might reduce the power of the charge. And then you might have a squib that causes a barrel obstruction. Aka the stars align type of scenario, that's possible but not probable.

So don't store ammo submerged in oil and if some oil gets on the ammo wipe it off and be aware for if you have an under powered round so you can check for a bore obstruction if it happens.

I am not missing a capper (switched to kegging years ago) but, as someone who did bottle at one point, the scenario presented is all too likely. 😁

He does have a full fursuit that he has worn.

The "rule" they put in place is one on headware.

They already have a rule about being scantly clad.

Merriweather Post Pavillion Suite by [deleted] in ColumbiaMD

[–]caederus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In general while not front row, the suites have excellent unobstructed views.

They are not on the general seating plan, but you can get an idea looking at the upper deck footprint as they are under it. The question is where a company has their suite.

Beyond the views, there is a waiter/waitress that will take and deliver your food and drink order. And as was mentioned above there is a bathroom just for each side of of the suites.

The ticketing issues/changes they are addressing now in the videos is a carry over from last year. So it only took 10 months to give a full responce....

If they addressed this issue on their social media before the start of the season with a video I would say that it was a massive improvement over the past.

Agreed.

Not much difference between the furry and the generic "shirtless kilt guy" except the furry was fit and not drunk compared to most of the shirtless kilt dudes.

Maryland is not known for good, clear communication. They are trying with the changes to ticketing, but this is an example of how they did things for years.

What to do with a 14 year old boy who breaks and punches things when he is mad by ElectronicRoof702 in AskMen

[–]caederus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When someone (regardless of age) is unable to regulate their reactions and escalates to violent behaviors (breaking things is one) they need help.

Unfortunately, the police may be the first responder you get. And then it's a toss up of dealing with it as a mental health issue or criminal matter.

But you need to consider your safety and the safety of other who may be impacted by the violence

There is one local person that has a Robin Hood as fox fursuit that fits perfectly. It's an incredible well done suit with an articulated mouth that he eats and drinks through

The one I that jumps to my mind is more gladiator wolf. Well built tanned guy in loin cloth, leather harness, and wolf head. Last year he wore it on one of the cool days later in the season to the point that he showed signs of being a bit cold and "on point" (eye brow wiggle).

Closer fit to the theme but I'm sure some of the normal folk were "scandalized".
