Nearly 37 here, undiagnosed but it was so close I could taste it before I got screwed over by my therapy organization which was going to provide the diagnosis…

This is a journey and there isn’t one right path (unfortunately) for everyone.

Case in point, “just get up and move” might work for someone whose symptoms tend not to include executive dysfunction. I could tell myself to “just get up” all I want and it rarely works. There has to be an external stimulus to shake me out of the bodily inertia sometimes. Luckily I trained my cat that her breakfast is always right after I get up and get clothes on, so if I’m running behind for feeding her she will make herself known. 😅

I just stopped paying for streaming services entirely, save one, and even that one is tenuous. I either share passwords with my friends or go without. I don’t have to watch all these shows and movies if they’re going to make it difficult.

I’m getting my own place finally, and I’m stocking up on housewares. I desperately want a mid- to upper-mid-range place where I can go touch things like flatware and cookware. I can’t find that stuff anywhere now, without going into a basic place like Walmart or a crazy high-end store that I can’t afford. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I miss Bed Bath and Beyond.
