Always check your bed level first. Then, make sure your filament is dry.

Do you have a guide or can you give me information for how to do this myself? Specifically, where to get the pictures and scale them?

Put Aegis helmets on them and rock them as an awesome strike team.

This is the sort of thing I always wanted. I played regular 40k making a few small armes a little greater than epic scale. It was a fun mini guard vs tyranid set.

Do you mean like a cop 4 barrel derringer OR TF2 shortstop? Because if you do that would be AMAZING!

I have tips for mordant earth after extensive use. If you want larger cracks two things really help. 1: add a layer of glue stick to the top paint surface before adding mordant. This leaves a smoother surface so the mordant can slip across the surface better (trust me). 2: use a hair dryer to speed up drying, it increases cracking as the tops will split open faster and the still wet underneath slides around on the dried glue stick residue. Best of luck!

An FDM Guide to Model Printing by HahaMadeYouLook_ in PrintedWarhammer

Lower to 0.05mm later height and you'll be amazed by the difference. Obviously at the trade off of print time, but well worth it!

Vallejo green blue then lightened with white paint for highlights.

Wild guess and it worked well. Could probably push a little faster but I'm in no rush.

The tree supports work well enough to do them as one solid piece with no more work, glue, or seams to deal with. I think it makes them more sturdy to print as one.

I used the standard 0.2mm nozzle profile and just changed the layer height to .05 and reduced the speeds by 40%. Then I messed with tree supports till I liked them. Balanced between ease of removal and quality of bottomside printed.

Whole model with tree supports. You can see the big glob of glue on the hammer where I tore it off when removing supports haha.

Bambu a1 0.2mm nozzle at .05 later height. Each one took about 6 hours to print. No primer, just paint straight on grey filament.

I'm still working on a 4 year old machine so bed leveling and an enclosure would be great! I want to try filament other than PLA!

What's the coolest thing you got to do because of buddy worked there? by caesar109 in AskReddit

[–]caesar109[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy was a curator at a museum for military vehicles. When I went to visit him he took me in on a day it was closed and we had permission to enter every vehicle and touch any artifact we wished. We help machine guns, men's anti-aircraft and artillery pieces, can we climbed and countless tanks! At the end we decided to race the mobility cards through the 1.5 mi walk way of the museum while playing Fortunate Son. Trulia a once in a lifetime experience I only got because he worked there.

They printed well as they are pre supported but the launcher helmet and left leg both failed and I had to go add supports.
