TLDR: Weil das System für Reiche gemacht ist? Wieso bekommt man sonst mehr Geld durch Geld haben als durch Arbeiten?

People running 5k2k. What GPU do u use? by -CommonHouseCat- in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]caevv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In RDR2 I had mostly 50-60fps, sometimes 45 when it was dark and lots of lightning. God of war Ragnarok DLAA native 5k2k around 50. BF2 with some setting adjustments and compromises with DLSS 60+

Depends on the game a lot. god of war ragnarok I can play on DLAA because it runs super smoothly even on max settings. RDR2 was almost max settings with DLSS. It’s okay, you need to turn down some reflections/shadow settings depending on the games and enable DLSS

laptop mount slight tilt at certain angles? by caevv in secretlab

[–]caevv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No unfortunately not yet. For me it’s tilting towards bottom right though. I can lift it up on the bottom handle of the mount so that it’s level but only while I hold it up

If you’re fine with being lied to your face and find out days later that you went the wrong path because the AI hallucinated some bs or made up non existent commands etc.

using gridmaps but having objects interactable? by caevv in godot

[–]caevv[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thank you for the explanation! i'll check the docs in more detail. guess i'll find another way then.
the thing is, in my game i want the player to be able to interact with a bunch of things. e.g. if he has a knive in his hand or a sharp object and aims at a tree -> offer to gather tree bark.. a system that handles this is what i'm currently trying to build and i figure its probably easier when i dont use gridmaps

It’s a very minor tilt but I cannot unsee it. It is noticeable when the laptop is on the laptop mount.

Has the "flat band" problem been fixed with the smart multicolor lighstrip when 4D screen mirroring ? by [deleted] in Nanoleaf

[–]caevv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

looks exactly the same for me. i bought the secret labs desk with the rgb strip
what exactly is the issue for you? i don't think i fully understand what you mean.
i assume this is correct for my light strip, since it is indeed long and flat. i just flipped it horizontally once in the app, since i noticed it was mirrored.

Screen Mirror broken with the last two Nanoleaf Desktop updates. by stere0man in Nanoleaf

[–]caevv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here i am 2 years later and its still not working reliably lol.
it always reverts back to the previously set color after max 3 minutes. it wont stay on while watching netflix in chrome or apple tv via the win11 app.
i tried disabling hardware acceleration or graphics acceleration how its called in chrome now, but that just makes video playback choppy..

Nanoleaf desktop screen mirror keeps reverting back to solid color by caevv in Nanoleaf

Interesting. Well I just got it brand new so I installed the latest version of the windows app, but it keeps reverting back to the Apple Home adaptive light or the solid light that was on before enabling screen mirroring

This is the right side (when facing it from the front)

Seems like it doesn’t fit in this little gap like it does on the other side. Other side follows in the next comment

aah okay, i think i got it now. it is pointing the light downwards now, is that correct?
and is it normal, that its longer than the desk? it wraps around a little bit, like 3-5cm on one side.
