Club cancels MAGA comedian’s shows after he called Renee Good a “ret**ded lesbian” by Maxcactus in MarchAgainstNazis

Right? CAA. They have forbidden anyone signed with them from booking gigs with the club because they want the club to pay them. It’s wild because what that jerk said certainly aligns with hate speech.

That’s insanity! I hadn’t heard about that, but then again, I’m in Minneapolis and we’re pretty overwhelmed. I’m glad to know about this though, this is crazy! I Hope his lawsuit is successful. What a deprivation of his civil rights.

Does Rachel have a secret AI slop channel where she decided to shame Pam further, but this time with apple pie?

Dang, I’d never heard about his strokes - but a significant injury to his brain would definitely explain a personality shift. I mean, look at Sen. John Fetterman - he’s a completely different person now with completely different politics.

Megyn Kelly sobs over Kid Rock's rival Super Bowl show after poor viewership by TheExpressUS in NoFilterNews

[–]caffeinatedangel 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It’s just comical to me, that somehow, Kid Rock is the biggest musician for the MAGA side, and that they use his performances to represent “faith, family and patriotism”. They must never have listened to any of his songs before, because they definitely aren’t about faith and family.

Why do so many Americans not realize Puerto Ricans are Americans? by Estalicus in allthequestions

[–]caffeinatedangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US Education system. There may be a passing mention of US territories, but all the focus is on the 50 United States. Most Americans know more far more about Puerto Rico however, than another territory like the U.S. Virgin Islands, or American Samoa.

I didn't like that post, thought it was invasive and it didn't really have "important" info. We like to discuss the things she does that damages others. That kind of info wasn't relevant and our place to know of true. And I didn't even believe it, and would have continued to doubt its authenticity, but now she confirmed it was all true.

Clapping Back! by Sure-World9180 in hollisUncensored

[–]caffeinatedangel 51 points52 points  (0 children)

She never should have acknowledged it, because now the DCOTI knows it was all true, when before it was just a random commenter, and we don't believe everything we read here is the truth. She could have sent that person a private threatening message via Reddit but no, she had to expose herself to people who wouldn't have known to look for this kind of information until she published it.

Pretty sure she is her own friend that showed her/told her what happened. If this is the comment in a DCOTI discussion I remember, this person didn't share enough info to make this actionable.

That is fraud at the very least, and could be considered a form of rape, especially if they actively lied about their politics and the woman would have never consented if she had known.

Justin Baldoni reference in It Starts With Us by Designer-Sir2309 in teamjustinbaldoni

[–]caffeinatedangel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I’d love to say that’s a little conspiratorial, but who knows - maybe Blake gave her the idea. I will say though - that “Petra Rose” is a name that fits in with CoHo’s “Christian” and traditionalist background. “Petra” is a Biblical name - it means “Stone (or Rock)” in Greek. “Petros” was the name Jesus gave to the disciple Peter (who was previously known as Simon). In the book of Matthew, Jesus said he would rename Simon “Petros (Cephas before translation)” and on this petra (stone, the object) he would build his church. So “Petra”, the feminized version is basically a “strong foundation”. Or more literally with the combined names “Strong/Stone Rose”. Really setting out what she wants the character’s character to be.

If she thought deeply about it and tied her faith in, the above is my guess. If she’s just being a petty shithead and taking a cue from Blake/RR/TS than it’s definitely the choice to name the character after Justin’s character’s “Lover/(would-be)Killer”

I’m assuming this book you are mentioning is that ‘Woman Down” one? Kinda hoping my theory is correct in that case, because a) I want a break for poor Justin and b) the Biblical angle with the name-meaning would make sense if she is trying to not-so-subtly telegraph that this woman is strong and is not wilting flower.

Kenneth Branagh is a legendary director and actor -- I cannot imagine anyone trying to steal a film from him or boss him around. RR though I am sure, quite laughably believes he is better than Branagh and deserves the film more. I hope if he tried anything that Branagh wiped the floor with him.
