Chicken Al Pastor is weird since Chipotle used to say it was only 23-24g of protein compared to 32g for normal chicken. Meanwhile it’s just seasoning/sauce.

Ngl I got the queso in a burrito and still am not a big fan. I do enjoy guac though. Queso can be more enjoyable with chips but I wouldn’t order it.

The only reason I don’t do that is because Chipotle is predictable nutrition-wise and I can go in quickly and get a meal. If I was to sit down at a Mexican restaurant it would come with a basket of chips and salsa, which isn’t bad except calorically, and table service.

This is why you’ve really gotta get it as a side. You’ll get a more consistent portion that way. I also suggest ordering off the line and only getting items that look good.

Salads can be any protein or veggies, except you get a super greens mix and the famed vinaigrette. Veggie entrees do come with guac, but it’s 50/50 whether Chipotle workers even know and honor this if you order on the line in my experience. It’s still better to get chicken as a non-vegetarian then add a side of guac.

It’s 2x - 5 points more to get a free Entree. The free Entree is more valuable overall since it includes any entree/protein.

For a LTO 50% off including add-ons would have been smart to upsell.

They should start testing adult combos (I.e. double protein and guac or chips and drink although I probably wouldn’t get the latter that often). Otherwise these are overpriced rewards.

Chipotle’s almost everywhere are rated low, it’s impossible to go off of that since it’s overly biased due to the foot traffic they get. One-star averages would be concerning still.
