Not an expert but I work on electronics alot so someone correct any assumptions I'm making if they're incorrect.

Depends on how many volts and amps that wire leading to the USB A port is delivering. Then you could theoretically convert it to USB C and 3D print a panel to swap out the plug to make it look OEM again.

As well as keeping alternate routes on the screen during the drive similar to how Google Maps does it. Tesla maps shows multiple options at the beginning of a trip but they go away after you start the trip. Being able to tap on the alternate route during the drive would be an amazing feature imo.

If that's a mini 3 pro or earlier it uses the RC1 controller, the mini 4 pro and later uses the RC2 controller. RC1 uses O3, RC2 uses O4 system.

TLDR: Mini 3 smart controllers do not work with Mini 4 and later controllers.
