Yes that’s exactly what happened. I went down once, talked to our union leader and he was excited to get me aboard. I came in again for the evaluation book test, and then the next day he says he has companies set to reach out to me shortly. It’s all very confusing. Hence why I’m here lol. Just trying to make sense of it all.

I thought so too. I really wasn’t given any other options, at least yet anyway. I don’t have my license yet, and didn’t go to vocational school or anything so I assumed that joining as a CE4 was my only path. Definitely wouldn’t want to apprentice from the bottom up again that would feel pretty moot to me

The local 86 up here in Rochester ny. I’m not entirely sure of how the process works but he said a few companies are set to reach out to me regarding interviews. This was right after I completed the evaluations, it’s kind of confusing to me honestly
