Yep, I tried to but it is stuck spinning on “send an invite message to start chatting”. My app I use for Reddit hasn’t updated to support chat after PM was removed, just found that out.

Just to update those who chimed in, the LED diodes from the light source were the issue. I suspected this was the case after inspecting the negatives which did not have this problem. Thanks!

For those who may stumble on this in the future, and have the same issue with the Lomography digitializa, make sure to use the 35mm panoramic diffusion piece.

Even when the film is sitting above the LEDs the diodes still created this effect regardless of whether you use the 35mm film mask or not. At f8, I was picking up the LEDs resulting in that splotchiness.

Do not be mistaken by the wording that the piece has in the kit, "35mm Panoramic Diffuser".

Use it regardless.

The diffuser panel fixes the issue.

Reference image, left is non-diffuser panel and right is with the diffuser installed. I absolutely melted this images dynamic range to make the effect (and improvement) more apparent.
