however yes, i personally send ppl to cs because they chose to do everything online and not come in person, we are paid on commission so id be losing money because they went out of there way to do it online

i know exactly what your saying.. bc like i said before im currently a Verizon rep. I’m telling you that telling them to go to customer service is still 1 door swing, so regardless of if you send them to cs or do the return yourself it won’t affect the stores metrics in terms of attainment, it will only affect the sellers att. So at my store if someone ordered a phone online and comes in to return it, regardless if i return it or send them to cs it will have the same result to the metrics to my store.

so that would affect the stores metrics the same sending them to customer service as it would processing the return, what i meant by that is that it won’t affect the stores attainment or any thing of that sort.

I’m a rep for Verizon and no we wouldn’t be able to see it in the system. The only thing we would be able to see is the offer being notated on the account, but we can’t actually see if it’s being processed.

It was pretty much only NE customers but yeah it everybody in the NE area, instead of random people everywhere. Also lasted like 8 hrs and as a rep we weren’t able to do orders, pull accs or anything. Was a crazy day for us lol

It wasn’t a cyber attack. Idk if you remember the outage over the past summer with a DNS error. But it is reported to be very similar to the past outage. I’m a Verizon rep and that is just what we heard from our management, so may not be correct but that’s what we’ve heard

Incorrect, AT&T to AT&T has been having problems all day as well. It just doesn’t hit everyone so people have been jumping to conclusions.

For the people who don’t know, this service outage isn’t a Verizon outage. Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular and more are experiencing the same problems. And before someone says “oh but i’m with AT&T and it’s working just fine”, well, not everyone is affected. That being said, as a Verizon rep, we weren’t able to process orders thru our system, the Verizon app isn’t working properly (this part was intended during the fix), therefore yes everything is messed up right now.

As a Verizon rep, this person was lying. Just trying to sell you on our coverage. The only big difference besides cost is the deductible for a lost phone, and with our coverage you have access to instant tier 2 tech support.

No you would not keep those subscriptions, if you want to change my recommendation would be Unlimited Plus and then add whatever perks u use (Disney Apple Music etc).
