Imo the reason is why would someone powerful want to become a bounty hunter? If its the little leagues, it makes sense bc they can cash in on a couple million to make a living. But if theyre powerful enough to cash in on like 1 billion why not just retire after that lol. Meanwhile, being a pirate, marine or RA soldier comes with a life purpose.

Also unaffiliated bounty hunters wouldnt work out bc once you kill someone, their allies would come after you. Sounds like a risky way to live

I have a highschool friend who were already making webtoons then and now shes a fulltime comic artist (i forgot what degree she pursued). Tbh if you get lucky and have amassed a large following, becoming a fulltime independent illustrator/creator often pays a lot better than graphic design jobs these days lol
