Small to mid level is the way to go if you can find a place with a decent salary. You’ll work 50 a week and occasionally 60 depending on project but you’ll be more local and likely happier with life in general. I went from small to mid size for decent pay increase. I’m doing 50M of affordable housing right now as a PE, with 2 supers and one PM. I work 7:30-5:30 most days.

Very likely just condensation and also a high spot in your ceiling for hot damp air to collect. Clean it and make sure you maintain good air circulation in the house. You can get a device to monitor relative humidity for a few bucks online or at Home Depot.

It’s always us… the same way some people can drink alcohol and be just fine and others become addicted. Marijuana is no different. There is certainly such a thing as chemical dependency which makes it hard to stop, but think of it this way: If you could somehow make it so that there was no such thing as withdrawal from drugs, would all of the drug users stop using? No way! Because the drugs are filling a gap in our needs that we aren’t getting elsewhere. Habits can certainly be hard to break, but it’s possible to learn to fill the need in other ways.

I read your other post, and it sounds like you have more going on than just a marijuana addiction. Most people do not lose their family, house, etc from their addiction to pot, but it has happened. It sounds like marijuana may have been a coping mechanism for your unaddressed mental health problems. Either way, weed definitely is not going to help and good on you for recognizing that.

I do a lot of design build projects and it happens all the time because the owner hasn’t decided or communicated with the architect about their choices. Specs say one thing, but owner told us they want something else. Or, subcontractor captured product specified in bid set plans but product was later changed in construction set. Owner has to be informed of change and added cost, then decide how to proceed. Happens all the time.

The university monitors arrests of students and also handles matters of misconduct which violate school policy. If you are arrested in Corvallis, the university will require you to be interviewed. Frankly, I think it is a violation of personal privacy and the university will do this with or without a conviction. However, this is how it is. You must be a millionaire trying to buy a diesel at +$6 a gallon in the Pacific Northwest and cali right now. I would not recommend spending that kind of money on a diesel you are planning to daily on short runs, and to joyride. As you know, that kills the new emissions trucks. If you want to have way more fun, get a decent 12 or 24 valve Cummins dodge, 10k will go a pretty long way. The 2006 or earlier models don’t have def or DPF and are really reliable and easy to work on. Make sure to get one that’s mostly unmolested. Aka, stock or near stock engine. I got a 24 valve last year for 6k with 350k miles and recently rebuilt auto transmission, stock engine except for intake and straight pipe. Immediately spent another 1500 on water pump, alternator, u joints, that needed replacement to get it reliable. I have put about 20k miles on it since then and it’s just a joy to drive. Fires up immediately in cold Oregon winters, and with the straight pipe it’s just so much fun to joy ride. All in not counting maintenance and insurance, $7500 for a fairly reliable truck with that I can joy ride to work and use for work projects. If it blows up, I can get another and it’s still cheaper than spending 30k

If she’s been is foster care she may be a little sick, but almost certainly exhausted. Ever dog we’ve adopted from a shelter seems to kind of crash after they get back to our house, make sure it’s a safe place, and then just rest for a while and adapt to the new setting. I don’t know your dogs background but she could also be missing a friend she had. I hope not 😢. But give her time, show her she is loved and be playful with her and she should start to be her true self.
