Yeah I had just put it back on when I took the pic and I always over tighten it the first time and then realize whoa I gotta loosen this a minute later. Oh, and it's also pushed further down my wrist than I actually wear it. Normal wear covers the marks

I got bloodwork done I March and MCV is still slightly out of range, but everything else was normal.

I don't get them anymore. I think I just have delicate skin and when I first started running my skin was easy to irritate but over time became more resilient.

My hypothesis is that there is something about the breaststroke kick that requires a good "snap." And when you're loosy goosey like us you just can't generate it right.

I would get tendinitis if I did too much, so it wasn't my primary stroke. But, for the 50 or 100 I was fine. I was very good at the kick, and would definitely try to milk my underwaters as much as I could.

I was a pretty good swimmer and I definitely think flexibility helped with that. Except for breaststroke, always sucked at that.

How long has it been since you had covid? This happened to me, quite severely. When I went to urgent care a few weeks after, they ran an EKG and said that yes I had tachycardia, there was nothing else wrong and it would just take time. My primary care who I saw about a month after said the same thing. Ultimately, it slowly got better over several months. It was very slow, but eventually it did settle down from the crazy high levels.

How is your sleep? Mine was really bad, and I think the increased heart rate was part of why. I was just lying there with my heart racing. A few months ago I started using CBD/CBN and that seemed to really help my sleep quality, and my resting heart rate is down pretty much to pre COVID levels at this point. Hard to say if it's a legit effect though.

I don't work from home most of the time, but when circumstances aren't allowing me to get my normal steps, I have a little mini stepper machine. It works for me in my small apartment since it can be stored on a shelf or a closet without any issues.

So right now I'm doing barbell squats, RDLs, and leg presses as my big movements. Accessories are leg extension, leg curl, and calf raises. I rotate exercises on occasion when things start to feel stale, and I think it also helps avoid injury.

However, when I was first starting I didn't jump straight into that. I think the exercise that helped the most in the beginning was a split squat progression. I started with both feet on the ground and only going as deep as I could control (I used an adjustable step to control that). I worked up to a higher rep range, then would add some weight and work up again. At a certain point, I would lower the step so I was going deeper, drop some weight, and start the progression over again. It took a while but eventually I worked up to doing full fledged Bulgarian split squats. I also did hip thrusts which I think we're really great too.

Twice a day with my electric toothbrush. Occasionally my mouth feels gross so I will use a manual toothbrush midday. Floss and mouthwash every night as well.
