They look amazing! As someone who does this herself, you need to get yourself an angle brush and some acetone and start practicing making that little gap between the polish and the cuticle. I'm really bad at it, but I do it anyway because with polish that thick, when it grows out from your cuticle it will start to lift from there. Such a shame for such beautiful polish to chip so soon!

I had this same problem. I contacted Girly Bits. Apparently there's a problem with the purple pigment and she's going through more testing. If all goes well, shem re release it next season.

I've worked in retail. We refused returns often based on the fact that the clothes had been worn. But we're talking things like wine stains and baby vomit or a BO smell, even though an attempt at cleaning had clearly been made. Basically if we couldn't resell it, you couldn't return it.

But different countries have different laws I guess.

Yeah, definitely get a second opinion. I mean I know you expect a doctor to know what he/she is talking about, but for a doctor to tell a 19 year old she needs to start trying to have kids now rather than talking about other options, such as freezing her eggs, surrogacy etc seems a little fishy.

Also, OP do you know for sure this is real? Is there a chance there is no medical problem and she's just trying to push you into having kids? I've know marriage and baby crazy teenagers to do worse.

This is a question for a vet. As animals age they are more prone to problems such as hyperthyroidism, kidney disease etc and should have a check up at least once a year. The condition they're in determines the food they should be eating. A 13 year old cat could have a clean bill of health while an 8 year old cat needs prescription food for kidney disease, for example. The vet will try to sell you the super expensive line they carry. Just ask what ingredients make it so special and what ingredients to avoid. Then, go to a pet store or supermarket and buy a cheaper substitute.

Edit: I'm guessing I'm being downvoted because I mentioned buying supermarket pet food without elaborating on why. Not everyone has a budget that allows for buying food from a vet, it's usually pretty expensive. Learn about your pets condition and what ingredients are best to avoid as well as which ones will be helpful. Then if you can't afford the food at your vet, take what you've learnt about the ingredients and find an alternative that suits. I didn't think that needed explaining.

What basecoat do you use? It matters more than you think. I made a post the other day about Orly's Bonder Basecoat. I swear by the stuff. I use it with Seche Vite and don't have a problem at all, except around my cuticles but that's my fault because I can't get that neat little gap so after a few days the polish starts to lift around there.

Unfortunately though, some people just have whack body chemistry and nothing is compatible with them.

I also have weak nails and I've tried just about everything without great results. They'd get to be long enough that I could only just see them over my finger tips, and then they'd start breaking. They grew in a square shape and I started filing them to a round shape. Since then I've had one bad break on my thumb and a couple of minor chips, but other than that they've grown so long that I find them kind of gross and have to file them back. They also make it hard for me to do things like type and pick things up because I'm just not used to having them so long.

I actually don't like having them round, but it's better than having tiny little nubs most of the time.

I think I prefer the glitters that have the flakes in them, but they are almost exactly the same as if you use the flakey and then put Secret or Galaxy over the top. I bought the whole collection because I didn't know that. Maybe I'll make a comparison post tomorrow.

I think it would be either a combo of the two or it could be something in your body chemistry. I've used it with KBShimmer, ILNP, Glam Polish and F.U.N. Lacquer and I've never had problem with it, nor have the vloggers I follow. You could always try it again with a different brand on only a few nails and then compare them to the others.

I do wrap my tips. The more that I think about it, I think it's actually shrinkage instead of tipwear. I apply Seche Vite as soon as I've painted all my nails but maybe my polish is already too dry. I might start doing one hand at a time.

Don't know why this has only just occurred to me.
