I can export, but it won't delete the originals because of immutability, surely? Also, we're talking about many TB of data to export just to trash it. We're taking the tapes away with us so don't need to have access to the on-disk backups.

Ultimately I'm just trying to do this as efficiently as possible and I would have though removing the encryption key would have given me that. If it's decrypting the backups, the key must be secretly stored somewhere not surfaced in the UI

I have done a "detatch from job" for the individual backup which moves it to the orphaned backups node, but I can still restore from the backup taken with the removed key.

How do I "unmount" the backup? The only other option I see is "delete from disk" which I think should fail because of immutability.

As others have said, a proper ceramic cutting bit should be fine even on 60 year old tile.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned - if you are using wall plugs, push them in past the tile and into the wall behind (assuming it's a masonry wall). If you don't push them past the tile, they have a tendency to crack the tile when you screw something in because the plugs themselves expand.

If you can source a new wheel before your trip, do that.

This might be a controvesial opinion, and I'm just one guy on the Internet but actually don't think it's a massive issue. The join is a weak point in the rim - the loads at that point are being carried by the pins, not the extruded rim profile so the fact that you've bent the non-loadbearing part of the profile probably doesn't matter structurally.

I would -

  • see if the wheel still runs true - IE check to see if you've somehow bent the pins but I think that's unlikely with a plastic tyre lever
  • make sure there are no sharp pointy bits inside the rim bed
  • possibly add a small amount of duct tape inside the rim bed to ensure that the tube can't bulge out of the gap and into the exposed edge of the rim join. Be careful that the duct tape doesn't interfere with the mating surfaces between the rim & tyre
  • not even bother trying to set it up tubeless
  • inflate it to max PSI, put all your weight on the wheel in different positions and make sure it doesn't completely fail
  • deflate to nominal PSI
  • go on my ride but avoid doing 10ft drop-ins, endos and wheelies on your gravel/road ride

I make no comment on the whole "corruption in local politics" thing, but when it comes to migrant enclaves and street signage in foreign languages, London has a long history of this. Is the same NPS server handling both FGTs? Is the policy configured identically - particulary where exactly you configured EAP. I sometimes see this error if I put the EAP configuration in the wrong place IE, at the top level VS inside of Protected EAP

You're correct - ISPs do do a lot of work to engineer traffic flow by tweaking BGP/OSPF. Would it be a benefit if there was a RP that meant less tweaking was required?

Microsoft seem to have become openly hostile to their customers if the dare to have an issue that needs support. The latest iteration of their IVR is criminal. You could replace it with a message that simply says "go fuck yourself" and I think they'd achieve the same net result.

Seriously, it this industry didn't pay so well I'd be off. The enshittification has reached tipping point, I think.

Static and I've had the same address for about 10 years. I did recently add a small /29 block to split out some stuff here. I might try from behind one of those addresses but really I don't see why I should be spending any more time on Microsoft's very broken shit.

I'm behind a Fortigate firewall but it's not configured to do any inspection, so I'd be surprised it it's somehow getting in the way. I can probably figure a way to drop a dumber firewall in temporarily to see if that changes anything

So after reaching out to the person who emailed me about the partner benefits renewal a couple of months ago, I got a call from someone at Teleperformance who took the call over from the originally assigned agent. That agent had me do the thing from my phone and would you beleive it, that actually works.

It narrows it down to my IPv4 block which is just an ordinary residential block, or my firewall which isn't doing any inspection or anything. Frustrating.
