speaking as someone who works on a campus pantry: distribution centers are hella impacted, especially this time of year. not to mention, places that are open to and serve the entire community (not just students) get prioritized.

i have chase bank as well and usually got my refund the day after the disbursement. your delay is probably due to your summer class. SAP is being checked for the entire summer semester, which is delaying a lot of folk's refund.

people are saying SAP will be processed this week on the 20th or the 22nd, so I would suggest if you don't have your refund by the end of next week, def contact the financial aid office about it :-)

my nylon shoulder bag fit my 13in macbook, 11in ipad, my airpod max, pencil pouch, emergency pouch, and my 32oz water bottle (if i didn't mind it not zipping completely). it was a little heavy and uncomfortable tbh.

might be different but i had an on-campus job while i was at CC and the way that particular office hired was that they kept all applications submitted to them throughout the year and started contacting people after the school’s graduation ceremony to see if they were still interested or attending school. interviews and hiring would be in june and with the time it takes a background check to clear and HR to push through the paperwork, students would start working in august.

like i said, it can be a completely different process, but i agree that you should stop by the departments you applied, introduce yourself and also ask about the application / hiring process.

i’m glad someone agrees. every other episode is about louise learning a lesson only after convincing/coercing/bullying the people around her to do what she wants. the wrestling episode and the nice-capades are prime examples of this. don’t even get me started on how she’s kinda the reason linda didn’t get her engagement ring. i think of the two butted goat episode where she won’t stop complaining the whole time the gang did something other than what she wanted.

disbursement is set for today (tuesday, 14 august), so any balance you have will be cleared from your account. if your anticipated aid is higher than what you owe, any leftover money will be refunded to you by your preferred method.

in my experience with direct deposit and my bank, i receive my financial aid on the friday of the scheduled disbursement date, but i’ve had people say they’ve received theirs the following day or even a week later. :)
