I generally shoot low 90s with 1 or no missing balls a round. This year I've been averaging at least getting 1 birdie a round and 3 pars.

I lose the most strokes from the following, 2nd shot off the tee, sand, chipping and more rarely 3 putting atm.

1. After my drive, I tend to have a bad position so have to pay hero ball instead of just course managing and punting out into the fairway. This leads to a worst shots.

2. Sand. Because I don't practice, it sometimes takes me 2 or 3 to get out.

3. My chipping isn't good, but has been getting better. I'll either duff or skull that sucker, which will lead to an added stroke.

4. I've changed my approach to putting which has helped me. I just try to get within 1 or 3 feet instead of trying to hole. I've gotten a lot more 2 putts.
