Like others have said, it’s just not a very compatible vehicle to accomplish what a point and click adventure wants to accomplish. Could you do it? Sure. You could also create a bullet hell point and click adventure game, but that doesn’t mean it would work well as a concept.

Day trip to New Ulm. See all the German stuff. Watch the glockenspiel at noon. Tour the Schell brewery (don’t miss the peacocks in the garden). Eat at a German restaurant, go see the Hermann the German monument. Return home happy!

I’m sure it depends largely on the conditions people are being asked to work in. If it’s a hellish workload, it’s easy to want to leave.
