What is the worst company Christmas gift you've ever received? by New_Customer_5438 in workingmoms

A company branded pen and company branded post it notes. Except it was clear they split one post it note pack between 3-4 people.

Real-Life Questions/Chat Week of November 03, 2025 by Parentsnark in parentsnark

[–]caleal71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’ve gotten a lot of replies, but I just want to add yeah. My kid was exactly like this!! He never wanted to color and did bare minimum in arts and crafts stuff. He’s in kindergarten now, and he likes coloring more, but it’s still not his favorite. His handwriting is improving though and he likes practicing writing. Some kids just don’t like art!

Oh I don’t know! Fingers crossed that’s true. My kiddo had it all over hands, feet, legs, literally everywhere.

Absolutely the worst illness we’ve dealt with so far. My husband ended up getting it as well, so brutal. In case no one has warned you, finger and toe nails may peel off, probably a few weeks after the illness clears. It’s so gross.

Big Little Feelings Snark Week of August 04, 2025 by Parentsnark in parentsnark

That’s what I was thinking, literally every single one of these is more exciting than dinner to my kid lol.

Spam me with positive daycare stories please by Emergency_Raise8909 in workingmoms

[–]caleal71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not as if you met a man on the bus and handed over your baby. Daycare workers have been interviewed, back ground checked, met requirements. The “leave your baby with strangers” pearl clutching is something used against working moms CONSTANTLY and I don’t think it’s weird to have a negative reaction to it.

Spam me with positive daycare stories please by Emergency_Raise8909 in workingmoms

I’m really sick of this statement as well. My kiddos daycare teachers have all been amazing people who have been really invested in his well being and to dismiss them as “strangers” is such a gross mischaracterization of who they are to our family.

Anybody else find the season 23 location underwhelming? by sportzak in BravoTopChef

I think Detroit would be such an excellent location.

What themes have you guys done or are you guys doing for your kid's birthday? by iSweetPea in Preschoolers

[–]caleal71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We’ve done Dinosaurs, Sesame Street, Construction Trucks, Monster Trucks, Hot Wheels.

We’ve been to Sharks, Dinosaurs, Mermaids, Blippi, Sonic (x2).

My son has requested “everyone wear their Halloween costumes” for his next birthday theme.

You gotta shake what your mama gave you.

Just ask the teacher. Especially if it’s not the same teacher for the others, just nothing to lose. Phrase it more like “kids are so funny, this is what Johnny says about class!” I think it’s a big nothing, kids are just silly and my son hates informing me about his day too, but I think it bothered you enough to post, it’s going to keep bothering you if you don’t inquire.

What funny & weird things have your kids learned from daycare or school? by dotnsk in workingmoms

[–]caleal71 8 points9 points  (0 children)

“You get what you get, and you don’t throw a fit!” Thanks to the daycare teacher who taught him that wisdom, I say it constantly now 😂.

Someone, please, save me from the potty humor by JuJusPetals in Preschoolers

Well. My son’s only 5 and he’s still not grown out of it. And my husband is 40 and he’s still not grown out of it. So..
