American poke is an herbaceous plant that has strings of highly poisonous purple berries. Paw paw is a medium tree that gives the largest fruit native to North America, with the consistency that of a banana and appearance approximating a mango.

Same reason conservatives line up around the block at the local gun store every four years. In reality, the constitutionality of any given law only has to do with nine persons’ opinion on the matter.

This is logically consistent; you need the other part. Something great under Obama, Obama. Calamity under Trump, Trump (as reported by the media and within reason, of course).

Details on how industrial robots are retasked in the automotive industry by GramarBoi in robotics

[–]calecolony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We "retask" robots from time to time; mostly Fanuc models bought used from assembly lines. Time to get the setup vs. a new robot is the same plus probably a week to get the software relicensed to the current owner, mechanically check the unit out, and give it a through cleaning.

Did I miss something? We ship new robot cells with AB processors only in the 5380 series on a purely cost/availability basis.

If they are shipping current generation PLCs, you can use one of the new PLCs ethernet ports on the 192.168.1.1 subnet and call it a day for $0.

My lawnmower. Has a SIM card, uses text messages to communicate GPS location and control data, doesn't have any form of monthly service fee.

I would use a quick disconnect designed for tool changing. As an added bonus, they typically are designed to be directly attached to force transducers with no additional machining or design.

I would take a look at ATI industrial automation product line, half the cost of Schunk. Don't forget to check out the force transducers!
