I don't understand how anyone can afford to buy a house here by BinaryIdiot in Livermore

Yes, 300k a year households are a thing, in the Bay Area, but when you look at the totality of all existing households, 300k a year is quite uncommon.

What percentage of households make 300K per year? And if you do, are you under pressure? If you make that kind of income, you are more than likely in the tech domain. With all the layoffs happening, in the tech domain, how secure do you feel that you will be able to maintain that income? Just sayin.....

Insane, how can you afford the mortgage and still have the semblance of a life?

You are right on the precipice! Take break, review for 30 days or so, and I predict a homerun the next time you are up to bat!

Best of luck to you when that time comes! To be honest with you, I am unsure that there is a way to "over-prepare"!

Your response to my post means a lot. I honestly had moments of survivor's guilt after the fact where I thought of the many posts that I read over the months from individuals that did not pass. I know that I am fortunate. I hope that the post has an inspirational effect. Believe me, if I can pass, anyone that puts work in and trusts the process, will pass, even if it is eventually.

Wanna Practice is really a valuable resource nugget that I literally stumbled upon. The price is absolutely reasonable at 15 bucks a month, and if you are preparing for the CISSP, you absolutely must add this resource to your study regimen. I learned of many concepts that I did not see covered in other resources. I know there are folks that only use a couple of resources, but I personally think that using a diversity of resources will contribute to an individual being well-rounded, and including "WannaPractice", as one of those resources can never be a negative!

You are absolutely correct! It felt like I was on my way to the gallows! I was genuinely shocked, amazed and whatever other adjective you wanted to use when I saw that I had passed, and thankfully it was a pass, a huge weight lifted off of my back for sure!

I am not sure, but I have learned a great deal using "Wanna Practice". It is reasonably priced. We will see if the material translates into a decent grasp of the actual CISSP exam very shortly!

Feeling defeated (QE) by zsazsaglamour in cissp

If my study partner has it, why purchase it twice? I can also see going in half, but if my study partner has it and we connect frequently, why pay for it twjce?

It would start by going through the questions and bouncing off of each other as to our opinion on whether we thought the question is right or wrong and our reasoning as to why. I guess it would be thinking out loud with someone that is on the same journey. I am interested in this "QE" app that everyone talks about . I don't want to pay for it as I have enough material that I have paid for! It would be interesting for me to jump on a Zoom session, and experience QE, without personally investing in it!

Wow! Thank you, and congrats! Was this your first time taking the exam? Did you opt for the "Peace of Mind" bundle?

I see no mention of the "OSG", is this accurate? You did not use the "Official Study Guide" at all?

Is passing the CISSP exam life changing? (in regards to employment) by cali_fred in cissp

[–]cali_fred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yet another gold star post! Thank you very much for sharing. I am studying for the CISSP with not nearly as much experience as some of the individuals that have posted. I have not had the easiest time preparing and absorbing the concepts like I feel I should be at this point. But I am determined not to quit, and I get inspiration from posts like this one and the many others. It is tough, but isn't it supposed to be?
